1 Corinthians 15:49
“Just as we have borne the image of the earthy, we will also bear the image of the heavenly.”
Colossians 3:10
“…and have put on the new self who is being renewed to a true knowledge according to the image of the One who created him”
When you know who God is to you and I mean everything he has done and promised, you will eventually know who you are. You are not the “limitation” the world speaks of or the “less” you think about yourself. What the society has curbed you to be is not who you are. You are much more than you know, if only you can see yourself through your father in heaven.
When a person recognises christ, he will know he has one life, one lover, one protector, one provider, one conqueror, one judge and a lot of many “ones”. There is only one way with God the father, the true course of action that reveals purposefulness as you “become” in the journey of your life.
You and I know that no matter how much persistence and patience we apply to anything, if he does not crown the works of your hand, our labour will certainly yield no success. Everything is forever in his grasp, everything you will ever need or want. For this reason know him more. The father who smacks yet pulls us under his shadow at the same time, listen to him. Take heed his words for he speaks everyday. The one who’s love you can never find. A love not supported by this world.
Colossians 1:15
“He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation.”

I know him now! For I searched for him as though a thief and I found him in my coldest hour. He is all that matters now. For in him I find tranquility. I am lucky to have found a likeness. I am blessed to have him in my corner, the one who says stop and the universe obeys. The one who goes ahead of time to rescue me. I have found my image. I know who I am. I am my father’s daughter and to him will I return to sit next to, to say thank you for not disappointing me when everyone I knew fell short, when the lions approached without notice.
Psalm 91:1-7
“He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday. A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you.”
Even in the toughest days, seek the image the father gives and dwell under the wings of the most high God. Search for the peace he offers and rest in the circle he drew with grace, favour and wisdom. I am always going to be right here in him, praising him for the opportunity of knowing myself. Not only will I praise you with my last breath, I will dance to your promises until the curtains come off and when silk cloths falls at my feet, I will not only speak of your good works to the waiting crowd, but will show them a tremendous performance titled “The right hand of God”
Deuteronomy 5:8
“You shall not make for yourself an idol, or any likeness of what is in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the water under the earth”.

I have no intentions of being worshipped, stronger than I really am or the best version of myself, when I have the creator, the strongest, the very best, the alpha and the omega. Why should I release fear or assume doubt when I have his assurance, for I know what he says about me. Therefore, I have completely stripped myself of society’s imagery; no longer concerned about what people speak concerning me.

Dear Heavenly Father, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ
I thank you for continuously building my faith in you and for the everlasting joy and calm you have placed in my heart. I stand today in a power so perfect in my weakness; the gift of christ, which has transformed my image to a resemblance that now depicts “A Child of God.” Thank you for bringing me into this new image, for giving me the greatest treasure that attracts peace, hope, and happiness, and exudes humility, confident, wisdom and patience. I am assured of your presence in my life, optimistic as you watch over me and fully rested as you take on my battles. Thank you for listening to my prayers and accepting every word from my lips and those singing from my heart.
In Jesus’ Name,
Amen.
