They called her names yet I only answered who I am
She had a plot but my narrative was defined
The water that drowned the people was sea to navigate me to shore
The odds for me were sure
The bet was for me a win
As a people of a beloved country
I play by a different set of rules
The script was Luke 10:19
I was playing by the book
The scriptures had the strategies
When the multitudes said there was a casting down
The army of my person; me, myself and I
Leaped for joy
For me it was lifting up
It is written of me in the volume of the book
A pandemic knew better not to hit my doorstep
Such alarms don’t ring where I live
For the lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places
I wasn’t trying to be safe,I am safety
I am hid in Christ and Christ in God
A double encryption the devil cannot crack
They called her names yet I only answered who I am
It is written of me in the volume of the Book
She had a plot but my narrative was defined.
