UNLOVE

Just before love turned sour
I’d call her my other half
She’d call me her sunshine boy
Her eyes where like love moons
I usually gaze at them every now and then
They often told me; I love you too
I thought I had found forever
And tomorrow was certain
Evil days came
When thorns grew amidst this garden
When weed crowded flower girl
Eve was peace but eden soon knew trouble
I was Adam but not the one that ate apple
I didn’t know how to nurture this love
Yet she fed me more but still I hindered
A bad farmer, flirting with seeds
I trampled upon the rose I should have brought her
She fell
Just when I made up my mind
She unmade hers
Unlearnt how to love
I learnt the love not to Unlove
